Krysia Eddery, owner of Perfectly Posh Hair has been revealed as one of the only ten stylists from within the UK to receive ‘Aveda Cutting Purfessional Educator’ status.

Aveda is known for recognising the importance of having the best people representing the brand and that its job is to “inspire, educate and develop” all those that collaborate with the brand.

Each year Aveda work with a small number of stylists to complete its rigorous education programme which equips the company with “unrivalled knowledge and education ability” in line with the Aveda brand guidelines. As an existing Aveda Colour Ambassador, this progression into cutting education was a seamless move for Eddery.

Mentored by Aveda Global artistic director, Ricardo Dinis, this education programme taught Eddery the fundamentals of Aveda’s cutting techniques and standards that must be met. Eddery learned the Aveda practice for a number of different hairstyles as well as the intricate body movements and positioning required to create specific haircuts.

2020 will see Eddery educate Aveda artists in this course, she commented: “I am passionate about working with a brand that compliments my salon ethos and Aveda’s sustainability mission sits in line with my own philosophy. I am honoured to be an existing colour ambassador for Aveda and to now be recognised as one of ten Purfessional Aveda Educator’s is an incredible feeling and exciting progression for my career personally.”
