The Olympia Beauty Team has announced the launch of Green Beauty, a brand new show area dedicated to transparent labelling, non-toxic ingredients, natural and organic products and sustainability in the industry.

Olympia Beauty, a trade only event established over 15 years ago, continues to remain focused on keeping resounding industry topics and trends at the forefront of what it does. As part of its dedicated focus for the past three years on education, training and standards, the team has been working closely with The British Beauty Council and other industry guides to help focus the show’s content and maintain an exceptionally high standard event. Catering to over 18,500 industry professionals and housing over 500 beauty brands over the two day show in 2019, the event also attracted over 5000 beauty business owners – a key target audience for many beauty brands wishing to see their products move into spa and salon locations around the world.

Clean Beauty has been growing at pace in the industry, with a focus from consumers on transparent labelling and non-toxic ingredients, but there has also been a huge shift towards natural and organic products. Sustainability within the beauty industry has also been a longstanding issue that consumers are continuously growing aware of and it’s the beauty industry’s responsibility to look at all of this and react to the consumer’s wishes.

The Olympia Beauty show aims to bring this to the fore with their new show area. Green Beauty will have a dedicated demonstration stage, where professional visitors can experience innovative products, ideas and teachings in small groups throughout the show. There will also be a published schedule of events and exhibitors ahead of the show, where exhibitors who fall into this Green Beauty category can also be highlighted for the visiting beauty professional interested in this growing market.

Olympia Beauty 2020 will be taking place on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 October at Olympia London for its sixteenth year.
