Andrew Barton London Education (ABLE) will again be hosting an Aspirational Day at the Wella Studios, London. Taking place from 10am until 4pm on Monday 30th March, the day will be packed full of inspirational workshops and demonstrations aimed at college students and their tutors.
Following on from the success of last year the ABLE Aspirational Day has been specifically curated for Level 2 and Level 3 students, giving them the opportunity to learn more about real work in the industry as well and introducing a number of different hairdressing techniques.Students will benefit through hands-on experience and discussing latest hairdressing innovations and techniques.
The day will also compliment the new Level 3 Advanced and Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship, which comes into force in March. Andrew Barton launched ABLE in 2018 to offer full time students or apprentices an extended qualification linked to the hairdressing industry, empowering their employment opportunities with a certificate, alongside the traditional NVQ or technical qualification.
This year’s itinerary will feature two cut demonstrations by Andrew plus colour demonstrations focusing on Balayage techniques. In the afternoon business expert Julie Eldridge will host a workshop about customer service. The ABLE Aspirational Day is open to all college students. Two free tutor places are available for every group of 18 students booked at a cost of £15 per student.
